I have many great memories of childhood visits ‘down South’ to visit Uncle John, Auntie Hazel & my cousins during school summer holidays and also of them coming ‘up North’ to visit us. A firm favourite place to visit back then was Carnforth Steamtown. John always had the video camera out, capturing us all & his love of the steam trains! It was lovely to see John last summer at a family get together & so glad we got chance to spend time together with our families. You’ll be greatly missed Uncle John x
